Loring Park
Loring Park is one of the oldest urban parks in Minneapolis, and is centrally located in downtown Minneapolis. Not too long ago is was called Central Park, until it was renamed to honor the first superintendent of the park system, Charles Loring. Today, Loring Park is also the name of the surrounding neighborhood, which is filled with both residential areas and businesses.
